Panic played a little under an hour. The audience were not happy with their sudden and not very dramatic exit, so we started chanting “Panic! Panic!” until Brendon Urie came out. He sang ‘Time to Dance’, with the audience singing the keyboard part. Then the rest of the band came out saying, “Well, since you guys aren’t going anywhere, I guess we’ll play a few more songs.” They ended with ‘Pas de Cheval’ and ‘Mad as Rabbits’.
Although it was not a top-notch concert, it was still a great time, and I definitely got my money’s worth of music. It would have been nice if Panic had played around more with their music and gotten the audience more involved, but they still sounded spectacular. Not all bands sound good live yet Panic are definitely at the top of the list of those who do sound impressive. There was only one song when Brendon, Ryan, and Jon weren’t quite in harmony at one point, but that was it. I would go and see them again any day. However, if Honda is going to make Panic their headline band for the tour, they need to cut down on the opening acts’ stage time and give Panic more time for themselves. I felt like the show was more of a rock festival, showcasing numerous bands, yet my ticket said I was at a Panic at the Disco concert. However, I definitely recommend seeing them.
